Leadership

The operator and the architect

One spent fifteen years running the floor. The other builds the systems underneath it. Between them, someone's dream becomes a working company.

Jewelle Lum

Owner and Chief Executive Officer

Jewelle Lum learned to lead where nothing waits until morning. For fifteen years she worked casino floors, from Washington to Las Vegas, rising from cocktail server to bartender, lead bartender and bar supervisor, then front-of-house supervisor.

She wrote the playbooks, hired and trained the teams, helped build the menus and closed every night with the cash accounted for. Hospitality taught her what many founders learn late: a business is a promise kept to every guest, every night.

She owns the firm outright and sets its course. Company filings, banking, the merchant of record and every funding meeting cross her desk, and she decides what the firm builds next.

Deacon Roswell, System Architect

Deacon Roswell

System Architect

Deacon Roswell is a full-stack engineer who starts where most software doesn't: with how a business actually runs. He maps the process first, every hand-off and workaround and the hours lost between them.

Then he engineers the custom software, automation and AI that take the friction out, so the people in the business get their time back for the work only they can do.

At the firm he is the architect of every system behind each venture, from the first line of code to the platform that takes the first payment. Okulo™ is his work from end to end, designed and engineered.
